Ben Nevis Days Out

Climb Britain's highest mountain!

-

Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd or Monday 3rd August 2020

ABOUT THE DAY

At 1,345m above sea level, Ben Nevis is Britain's highest mountain. There are numerous ways to walk (or climb) Ben Nevis. The most straight forward is the so-called donkey track, built to take Victorian ladies up to the summit observatory on the backs of donkeys. I'll be in the area over this Scottish Bank Holiday and depending on the weather, looking at some of the various walking routes up to the summit or around to the North Face.

Meeting Point:

08:00am Ben Nevis Visitor Centre, Glen Nevis, Fort William, PH33 6PF

To view the start point on Google Maps, please click here. This will open in a separate tab.

DifficultyLevel 3 walk - Moderate mountain walk. The approximate total distance & ascent is 17km / 10.5 miles distance and 1,352m / 4,463ft ascent. There is a good track although it can be steep in places.

Cost: The guided walk up Ben Nevis (weather permitting) is £40 per person (with a 10% discount if booking for 2-3 people, and a 15% discount for booking 4 or more). 16-18 year old's are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. You will need to provide your own transport and accommodation.

Numbers: I can take a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 4 in order to run the events. If there are fewer than the minimum numbers booked you'll get a full refund.

Here are some pictures of Ben Nevis to inspire you!

TO BOOK

If you want to chat to me about the day feel free to do so - email is a good start as I'm often out and about with limited phone reception.
If you don't like the idea of the online booking, that's fine as I can simply raise an invoice.
Simply click 'Book Now' for the day you are interested in and follow the instructions. You'll get an automated confirmation reply but I'll follow that up when I get back to civilisation to say thanks and with more detail about the trip..
Please ensure you've read the Terms and Conditions and you are aware of what you need to bring by downloading the gear list.
A quirk of the website hosting system means there are a range of ticket options (apologies about that). Please check the number you are booking for on the ticket options and ensure you request that number of tickets...
Any problems then please get in touch
