Bonfire Night with a Difference

Saturday 5th November, 5pm

Slide1.png
About the event:

What better way is there to see the fireworks than from the top of a hill? From such a vantage point on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, we can see the plains below and different public and private firework displays for miles around!

In 2021 we were lucky enough to even see a firework display from the summit of Roseberry Topping which made it look like a volcano!

We had so much fun we're doing it again. Combining a dark skies walk up to the summit of Roseberry Topping with the fireworks. From here we can reconnect with the universe as well as see the fleeting light explosions below us.

This is an event in collaboration with Alison from Adventures for the Soul. You can read more about Alison here.

Come and see the fireworks in style!

Meeting Point:

We meet in the car park to the north of Newton-under-Roseberry here. To see the start point please click on the link and a new tab will open in Google Maps.

Difficulty:

Although it is steep, there are good paths throughout. Given the time of year please expect mud and lots of it!

Cost:

The experience costs £29 per person

Numbers:

We can take a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 3 for the event to take place

Equipment:

Please see the all activities section of the website here. Given we're out after dark in November, sturdy boots are essential as are extra warm layers so we don't get cold watching the fireworks. Walking poles are recommended. Even if the weather is wet, walking at night can be an incredible mindful experience.
