BEN SMITH-PRICE

Ben grew up in the Yorkshire dales which meant getting out and enjoying the hills was easy! Growing up climbing and mountain bike racing lead onto a career working into outdoors.

His favourite ways to enjoys the mountains is through climbing and hill running. So whether that’s long days out in the hills running Munro’s or climbing long routes on Scottish mountains and sea cliffs, ben will be happy.

His passion for the mountains and climbing means he loves nothing more than helping others to enjoy them too, and achieve their goals. 

Ben has worked in the outdoors for over 5 years now in a mixture of centres, freelance and for himself. He holds Rock climbing instructor award, Mountain leader and is also a Mountaineering and climbing instructor. 

He holds the Summer Mountain Leader Award, the Rock Climbing Instructor Award and the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award. He is also a member of the Mountain Training Association and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors and undertakes continuing professional development. He also holds a current enhanced DBS certificate and is insured to provide the range of activities within the remit of the Mountain Training Award held.
