It's been a long while coming - but I've finally posted a whole list of events, courses and trips for 2019.
I'm starting off with a New Year's Day guided walk up Great Shunner Fell and Lovely Seat at the head of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales to see in the New Year. Come and join me to dust off the Christmas cobwebs!
I've introduced a range of new indoor and outdoor climbing sessions for those who are new to the sport and want to try something different this coming year.
For those wanting to start going walking in winter in the mountains, I'm running some winter skills courses around the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands. This will help folk make the transition from summer to winter walking.
As ever, the popular NNAS navigation courses will start again in March. Various Munro bagging trips to Glencoe, Cairngorms, Glen Shiel, Glen Affric and the ever popularFisherfields. You can see what I've got in store on the Guided Trips page.
But this year too I'm looking to put on some events and guided trips with a difference - a night-time midsummer traverse of the North York Moors on the Lyke Wake Walk to enjoy the astrophotography side of things and see the world in a slightly different way! There will be more to come around astronomy and astrophotography as I'm supporting the Dark Skies Festival 2019 on the North York Moors National Park.
And of course I'm here for private guiding and bespoke courses. It's all there on the new website so have a look! Any feedback much appreciated!
